our company
My name is Turner Payne, and I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. From an early age, I developed a passion for craftsmanship, spending my high school years—and later, weekends and summers during college—working hands-on with interior trim and custom carpentry. While attending Hampden-Sydney College, I continued to hone my skills, balancing academic life with real-world experience on job sites. After graduating, I stepped into the role of project manager, where I gained valuable insight into the broader scope of construction—from planning and coordination to client communication and execution. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the same skills I used to manage projects could be applied to building something of my own. With years of hands-on experience, a phenomenal mentor with over 40 years in the trade, and a deep appreciation for detail, I’m proud to bring clean, precise craftsmanship to every space I help create.
